The Stauffer Center for Science, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies has been designed to reflect the interdisciplinary, collaborative mode of teaching at a liberal arts and sciences university. Research

The Stauffer Center embodies a teacher-scholar model, and all faculty can be found in the classroom as well as engaging in scholarship. The annual Undergraduate Summer Research Program showcases this approach, with students working hand-in-hand with faculty to conduct research in 10-week paid positions every summer.

Careers

To prepare our students for their journey after graduation, The Stauffer Center promotes a personalized advising approach. Our Pre-Health program pairs faculty advisors with students as soon as they arrive on campus. The Science Center has forged relationships with many partner institutions, creating preferred admissions agreements and accelerated pathways for Redlands students, paving the way for our graduates to continue their education and create change in their communities.
